Dak Lak — An Amazing Corner of Vietnam — a two-day journey from Nha Trang to the Central Highlands region of Tay Nguyen, where the traditional way of life of local ethnic groups, endless coffee and rubber plantations, mountain lakes, waterfalls, and the unique culture of the Central Highlands have been preserved.

This is not a standard tour of tourist attractions. Here, you will be able to see a more authentic Vietnam, learn about the traditions of the Mnong people, spend an evening by the lake, listen to traditional music, and see one of the region’s impressive waterfalls.

Day 1 — lake, Mnong village, and an evening of traditional culture
07:00 — departure from Nha Trang

Departure from Nha Trang in a comfortable vehicle.

Along the way, the route passes through scenic areas of the Central Highlands. You may see coffee plantations, rubber trees, sugarcane fields, and other agricultural lands of the region.

Photo stops are available when possible.

12:30–13:30 — arrival at the lake and check-in

Arrival in an area inhabited by the Mnong people.

Check-in at a hotel by the lake and lunch at a restaurant.

After lunch, you will begin exploring the nature and traditional life of the region.

14:30–15:30 — elephant ride

One of the most unusual parts of the program is an elephant ride through the village and along the lake.

This is an opportunity to see the traditional regional way of life and the surrounding nature from an unusual perspective.

15:40–16:15 — Mnong village

Tour of the village.

You will learn about the traditional lifestyle, architecture, culture, and everyday life of the Mnong people.

This is one of the main highlights of the journey: instead of ordinary tourist attractions, you will see the living culture of the Central Highlands.

16:45–17:30 — boat ride

Next, enjoy a ride in a local boat on the lake.

Calm waters, mountain scenery, and the surrounding nature create excellent conditions for relaxation and photography.

18:00 — sunset over the lake

In the evening comes one of the most beautiful moments of the journey — sunset.

Against the backdrop of the lake, mountains, and evening sky, you can take panoramic photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Tay Nguyen.

19:00–21:00 — Mnong evening

After sunset, guests will enjoy a festive dinner and cultural program.

The evening includes:

traditional dances;
traditional music;
performances on local musical instruments;
an introduction to traditional beverages;
local cuisine;
stories about the culture and history of the Mnong people.

This is an opportunity to spend an evening immersed in the traditional culture of the Central Highlands and learn more about the lives of local communities.

Day 2 — history, Elephant Rock, and Dray Nur Waterfall
08:00–08:30 — breakfast

Breakfast at the restaurant by the lake.

After breakfast, the program continues.

09:00–09:30 — villa of the last emperor of Vietnam

Visit a historic villa associated with the last emperor of Vietnam.

Here, you can learn more about the country’s history and see architecture from the period when Dak Lak was an important center of the Central Highlands.

09:30–11:50 — journey to the waterfalls

Transfer to the region’s natural attractions.

Along the way, there will be a stop at “Elephant Rock,” an unusual natural formation resembling the silhouette of an elephant.

Here, you can take photos and explore Dak Lak’s natural landscapes.

12:00–13:30 — Dray Nur Waterfall

The next stop is the famous Dray Nur Waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Central Highlands.

A powerful stream of water is surrounded by rocks and lush greenery, creating the distinctive landscape of Tay Nguyen.

Here, you can take a walk, enjoy nature, and take photos.

13:30–14:20 — lunch

Lunch at a restaurant.

14:30–19:00 — return to Nha Trang

After lunch, depart for Nha Trang.

Along the way, you can continue observing the landscapes of the Central Highlands and the rural areas of Vietnam.
