About
Saigon in 2 Days — an action-packed journey from Nha Trang to Vietnam’s largest economic center, modern Ho Chi Minh City, which is still often called Saigon.
Over two days, you will discover several sides of southern Vietnam: visit the Mekong Delta, take a boat ride along its canals, explore the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, see Ho Chi Minh City’s historic landmarks, and enjoy free time to explore the city independently.
The trip is operated by a comfortable VIP Sleeper Bus with capsule-style reclining berths.
Overnight journey from Nha Trang
19:00 — tourist pickup
The journey from Nha Trang begins in the evening. Board a comfortable VIP bus for an overnight transfer to Ho Chi Minh City.
The overnight format allows you to travel during the night and arrive in Saigon early in the morning, ready to begin the sightseeing program.
Day 1 — Mekong Delta and Saigon
05:30–06:30 — arrival in Saigon
Arrival of the bus in Ho Chi Minh City. Meet the guide and have breakfast.
After breakfast, the group heads toward My Tho, located approximately 75 km from Ho Chi Minh City.
My Tho and the Mekong Delta
My Tho is one of the cities in the Mekong Delta and a starting point for discovering life in southern Vietnam.
Here, you will enjoy a tour of the region and a boat ride along the Mekong Delta’s waterways.
During the journey, you can see tropical nature, small islands, canals, and traditional settlements in the region.
The boat ride offers an opportunity to discover a completely different side of Vietnam — peaceful, green, and closely connected to the river.
Lunch
After the tour, lunch featuring Vietnamese and international cuisine is provided.
Hotel check-in
After the program, the group returns to Saigon.
Accommodation at a 3-star hotel in the city center.
Evening — free time
The evening is free for independent exploration of Ho Chi Minh City.
You can stroll along the central streets, visit markets, supermarkets, shops, cafés, and restaurants.
This is a great opportunity to experience Saigon’s atmosphere without the tour group.
Day 2 — Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City landmarks
07:00–07:30 — breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, meet the guide and depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Cu Chi Tunnels
The historic Cu Chi Tunnels complex is located approximately 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City.
It is a vast underground system connected with Vietnam’s 20th-century history.
During the tour, you will learn how people lived in the underground tunnels, see preserved sections of the complex, and discover the history of this site.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City
After the tour, return to the city.
Lunch
Lunch at a restaurant.
Sightseeing tour of Saigon
After lunch, you will explore the historic center of Ho Chi Minh City.
You will see important architectural and cultural sites and learn more about Saigon’s history.
War Museum
Visit a historical museum dedicated to Vietnam’s military history.
Opera House
The route then passes by the famous Saigon Opera House, one of the most recognizable architectural landmarks in the city center.
Free time
After the sightseeing program, free time remains until the bus departs.
You can take an independent walk around central Ho Chi Minh City, take photos, visit shops and cafés, or buy souvenirs.
19:30 — group meeting
Preparation for departure.
20:00 — departure for Nha Trang
Overnight return journey to Nha Trang by VIP Sleeper Bus.
Around 06:00 — arrival in Nha Trang
Estimated arrival in Nha Trang the following morning.

Comfortable, lightweight clothing and shoes are recommended for the excursion.

For visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, it is best to choose comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for walking through a natural area.

The trip includes two overnight bus journeys, so the program is suitable for tourists who are comfortable with long-distance travel.
The bus arrival time is approximate and depends on traffic conditions.
Weather conditions in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta can be hot and humid. During the rainy season, it is recommended to bring a raincoat or a small umbrella.
