Excursion itinerary
05:00 — departure from Nha Trang

Early departure from hotels in Nha Trang. The journey begins along a scenic mountain road leading toward Da Lat.

As you climb, the landscape changes: tropical vegetation gradually gives way to coniferous forests, mountain valleys, and Da Lat’s cool climate.

Mountain Pass

The route includes a stop at a scenic mountain pass. Panoramic views of the mountains, forests, and cloud-filled valleys open up from here.

This is one of the most beautiful spots on the route for taking photos and discovering the nature of Central Vietnam.

Lake of Love

After arriving in Da Lat, the excursion continues at the famous Lake of Love, one of the city’s most romantic places.

The lake is surrounded by pine forests and green hills. Here you can take a walk, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and take photos.

French Da Lat

The route then passes through atmospheric areas of Da Lat that have preserved their European architectural heritage.

The streets, buildings, cool mountain climate, and architecture create the unique atmosphere of a city often called Vietnam’s capital of romance.

Coffee Plantations

Da Lat is one of Vietnam’s main coffee-growing regions. During the excursion, you will learn about local coffee culture, see coffee plantations, and discover more about coffee cultivation and production.

The program also includes a visit to a large coffee complex with beautiful panoramic terraces.

Clay Village

The next stop is Clay Village, an unusual park of sculptures and architectural compositions.

The main feature of the site is its large-scale objects made of clay, including the famous “Faces of Love” composition beside a mirror lake.

This is one of Da Lat’s most unusual photo spots.

Crazy House

Next, you will visit Crazy House, a unique architectural complex known for its unusual shapes, winding passages, staircases, towers, and viewing platforms.

A walk through Crazy House feels like a journey through a fantasy world and offers a completely different perspective on Da Lat.

Linh Phuoc Pagoda

The next stop is the famous Linh Phuoc Pagoda.

The temple is known for its vibrant mosaic architecture made of glass, ceramics, and porcelain. It is one of Da Lat’s most recognizable Buddhist attractions and an important part of the excursion’s cultural program.

Lunch

Lunch at a restaurant is included midway through the itinerary. After the eventful first part of the excursion, you can relax and try local cuisine.

Hobbit Village

After lunch, the journey continues in an unusual fantasy setting — Hobbit Village.

Here you will find cozy fantasy-style houses, decorative features, and wine cellars. Guests can learn about local wine products and take part in a tasting of local wines.

Zoo and Farm

The final part of the route is a visit to a zoo and farm, where you can see various animals, including elephants and ostriches.

Additional animal activities may be available for those interested, subject to the venue’s rules and conditions.

After the program ends, the group departs for the return journey. Arrival in Nha Trang at 19:00.

This single route brings together nature, mountain landscapes, Lake of Love, the city’s French atmosphere, coffee plantations, Clay Village, Crazy House, Linh Phuoc Pagoda, Hobbit Village, and the zoo.

It is a good option both for a first introduction to Da Lat and for travelers who want to see unusual places beyond the standard excursion program.

⚠️ Important information

  • What to Wear

Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for long walks are recommended.

Dalat is cooler than Nha Trang, especially in the morning and in mountainous areas, so it is recommended to bring a light jacket, sweater, or windbreaker.

When visiting the pagoda, it is advisable to wear clothing that covers the shoulders and knees.

A hat, sunglasses, and a lightweight raincoat during the rainy season.

  • Option 1: Order breakfast the day before (to take with you)

If your hotel stay includes breakfast, you can go to the reception desk the evening before (usually by 6:00–8:00 p.m.) and ask them to prepare a lunch box for you (in English: breakfast box or packed breakfast).

Plus: it is free (already included in the cost of your stay). You can comfortably eat this lunch box during the stop at the mountain restaurant.

Option 2: Eat at the mountain restaurant (buy it there)

You can take nothing with you and have a full breakfast directly at the mountain restaurant during the stop.

You will get hot, freshly prepared food (for example, fried eggs or pancakes) and freshly brewed hot coffee with a beautiful view.

There may be connectivity and payment-terminal issues in the mountains. Be sure to bring cash in case the restaurant does not accept bank cards.
